Mango Raita

This is a super quick raita dish that goes well with any spicy curry. Use of home-made yogurt ensures that this dish is low on calories. Do try it out when you have fresh mangoes at hand. It tastes yummy!

 

Equipment and Utensils

Large Mixing Bowl

Whisk

 

Ingredients

200 grams (1 cup) Yogurt

200 grams (1 cup) Mango Cubes

1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar

¼ teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Garnishing:

10-12 Fresh Cherries

Directions

Put all yogurt in a large mixing bowl.

Add sugar and cardamom powder to the yogurt.

Whisk together until a smooth mixture is formed.

Add mangoes and mix well.

Serve in individual bowls and garnish with 2-3 cherries in each bowl.
