You can have it for breakfast or at meal time. It’s a complete meal which contains all nutrients. Since it isn’t a stuffed paratha, it takes less time to roll. Try out this paratha and then provide your feedback regarding the taste of the cheese and peas dough.
Equipment and Utensils
Flat griddle pan
Flat stainless steel / wooden spoon
Indian rolling board

Large mixing bowl
Mixer or Blender
150 grams (¾ cup) Frozen Peas boiled and drained
60 grams (2 cubes) Cheese finely grated
210 grams (1 cup) Whole Wheat Flour
1 Green Chilly
1 teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala Powder
3 tablespoon Ghee or Butter
1 teaspoon Salt
Blend boiled peas and green chilly to a fine paste.
Take this paste into a large mixing bowl.
Add pav bhaji masala, grated cheese, salt to the bowl.
Now add wheat flour slowly in 2-3 batches. Mix well after every addition.
Knead well, you will not require to add water to make a soft dough.
You may reduce the amount of wheat flour if you feel it is too much.
Make 9 equal balls from the kneaded dough.
Heat the flat griddle pan on a low flame.
Meanwhile, roll out one ball into a paratha of ¼ cm thickness.
Now put this paratha for baking on griddle.
Bake both sides of the paratha for 30 seconds each.
Then apply some ghee or butter to both sides.
Again bake both sides till they are golden brown.
Make the remaining 8 parathas in the same way.
Serve hot with some raita.
