Once you make this soup at home you will never purchase a ready-made pack from the market. Our soup turns out to be a very smooth, subtle and comforting food.
Equipment and Utensils
Stainless steel ladle
200 grams (1 cup) Sweet Corn Kernels
100 grams (¼ cup) Boneless Chicken shredded
30 grams (¼ cup) Malai (Full Fat Cream)
1 tablespoon Corn Flour
2 Chicken Stock Cubes
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon White Pepper Powder
700 ml. Water
1 tablespoon Chopped Onion Greens
Start by adding corn kernels and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
When kernels are boiled and cooked, remove them with the help of strainer.
Keep a handful of boiled kernels aside.
Grind together remaining boiled kernels, corn flour and malai to a smooth paste.
Now boil 700 ml. of water in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add chicken pieces and stock cubes into the boiling water.
Let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
Turn the flame down to low.
Now, carefully, strain the mixture from the mixer into this boiling water.
Now add boiled kernels which were set aside.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Keep it on low flame for 5-6 minutes. Don’t let it boil.
Garnish with onion greens and serve hot.
